Account and data deletion

PERMANENT ACTION
You can delete your account in the app right away.
Open Main menu > Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap “Delete my account”, or “Delete my guest account and data” for a guest account, type DELETE in the confirmation field and complete the process.
Deletion request on the web
If you cannot access the app, send a request with the link below from the email address you used for your account. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use the email address shown in that provider account. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity; we will never ask for your password by email.

What to include
- Your Amerikano username;
- Your sign-in method: email/password, Google, Apple or guest;
- The email address linked to your account, if any.
Data that is deleted
- Your Supabase authentication account and anonymous user ID;
- Email and Google/Apple account links;
- Profile, username, avatar, experience and game statistics;
- Friendships, pending requests and room invitations;
- Active room memberships linked to the account and related game records on the server;
- When deleting in the app: the profile cache, online room connection, single-player save and card arrangements on this device.
Settings preferences and tutorial completion are not personal account data; they may remain on the device and can be removed by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Timing and exceptions
Deletion in the app normally starts immediately. Verified requests received by email are completed within 30 days, and we let you know when they are done.
Limited logs and records that must be kept for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal requirements may be retained only for as long as necessary. Deleted data is removed from backups in the normal backup cycle.
Purchases
“Play ad-free” purchases are tracked with an anonymous RevenueCat ID tied to your store account and are not linked to your Amerikano account. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund the purchase; transaction and receipt records may be kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for legal and accounting reasons. For refunds, use the relevant store’s support process.
Guest account
Guest use can also create an anonymous account, profile, username, online game and friends data on the server. Uninstalling the app alone therefore does not delete the guest account on the server. Before uninstalling, delete the guest account with “Delete my guest account and data” at the bottom of Settings, or use the email option above.
